My wife Ann (Ann Finkelstein) gave a talk about voice in writing to the Southeast Mitten Shop Talk (Farmington Hills, MI). She spoke to about 25 avid writing enthusiasts. People were jazzed about the content of Ann’s talk. If I ever try to write a novel (unlikely), I now know better how to do it. Ann discussed using setting, scene, contrast and senses to amplify writing and reflect character. People at SEMST were excited about improving the craft in their writing.
